Designed for modern smart homes with complex energy configurations. ### ENEQUI Core C&I (Commercial & Industrial) Enterprise-grade version of ENEQUI Core for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and multi-tenant properties. Handles higher power capacities, supports multi-building management, and integrates with building management systems (BMS). Enables large-scale peak shaving and demand response. ### ENEQUI Smart Saver (Cloud Subscription) Smart Saver is the cloud subscription service for ENEQUI Core. Enables intelligent load control based on electricity prices and grid conditions without requiring hard-wired connections. ## How FCR Ancillary Services Work FCR (Frequency Containment Reserve) is a balancing service procured by Svenska kraftnät to maintain grid frequency at 50 Hz. There are two types: - **FCR-N (Normal)**: May be activated during normal grid frequency deviations. Availability and compensation depend on site qualification, contract, market conditions and measured delivery. - **FCR-D (Disturbance)**: Activated during larger frequency deviations (below 49.9 Hz or above 50.1 Hz). The battery responds rapidly to prevent grid instability. Higher payment rates but activated less frequently. FCR participation is available only where the site, equipment, contract, aggregator and current market rules permit it. Revenue is market-dependent and must be calculated for the actual site and period. ## Peak Shaving Explained Peak shaving (effekttoppskapning in Swedish) is the practice of reducing momentary power peaks in a property's electricity consumption. Many Swedish grid operators (elnätsbolag) charge demand-based tariffs (effekttariff), where the highest measured power peak during a billing period determines part of the electricity bill. ENEQUI Core can monitor power and use an available battery to reduce peaks. A financial effect exists only when the site's tariff charges for the affected peak, the measurement period matches the tariff, and the hardware responds as expected. ## Financial Model - **Hardware cost**: ENEQUI Core is purchased through an installation partner. Pricing varies by configuration. - **Subscription**: Smart Saver pricing and included functions are stated in the applicable offer or order. - **Savings estimate**: A site-specific estimate requires historical load, the current tariff, equipment limits, a named counterfactual baseline, a data period and numerical uncertainty. - **FCR revenue**: Availability and revenue depend on the site, contract, aggregator, market qualification and measured delivery. - **Investment case**: Payback is calculated from a dated site-specific cash flow.
